Every great project begins with an idea. For Olu Akpata’s House, the aim was to create a sanctuary that melded modern aesthetics with the rich cultural heritage of the Benin Kingdom in Nigeria. The client desired a country home that was both a retreat from the bustling city life and a celebration of Nigerian arts and architecture.
